(Self funded position for international applicants.)

The Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at The Alfred also offers fellowships in non-invasive cardiac imaging to international applicants who are self funded.  The period of fellowship may vary from 6 months to 2 years and is subject to the applicant securing salary support from their parent institution or research funding body.

International Non-invasive Cardiac Imaging Fellows will be involved in all components of the non-invasive cardiac imaging program (as described in the funded position).  In addition, international fellows will have scope to tailor their fellowship according to their individual needs, such as conducting research projects or enhanced focus on specific imaging modalities.

Prerequisites include completion of cardiology training according to the applicant’s local regulations and also successful completion of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) English language test.
