The Heart Failure Fellow is a 12 month fellowship with goals of understanding the key aspects of diagnosis and management of heart failure.  It provides training in cardiac biopsy, right heart catheterization at rest and exercise in various heart failure populations.  There is an emphasis on mechanical circulatory support as bridge to transplant.  The Fellow will also manage both inpatient and outpatient heart transplant patients.  Opportunity exists to develop research interests within these key areas.  For further information you could contact Dr Peter Bergin, Head, Heart Failure Centre via contact us.
