(see RACP website for availability and requirements)

This involves a 6 month rotation from general medicine where you will be involved in all aspects of inpatient and outpatient cardiology management.  This job does not expose trainees to the cardiac catheterisation laboratory or to training in echocardiography and is aimed to increase the trainee’s exposure and confidence in dealing with cardiological clinical problems at an inpatient and outpatient level.  This position is well suited for those who wish to pursue a career as a general physician and want to improve their cardiology knowledge.

The position opens via the RACP around June of each year and the appointment is finalised by mid September for the rotation to begin the following year.
