There are a total of 4 advanced cardiology trainees in which you will be trained in inpatient and outpatient cardiology management diagnostic angiography, transthoracic echocardiography and stress testing.

These positions are suitable for accreditation for advanced training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).  They are offered through a centralised application and interview process via the RACP.  Satisfactory completion of FRACP part one is essential (written and oral).  This is a two year position which will offer training in all aspects of Cardiology relevant to a career as a specialist Cardiologist.  

These positions open around June of each year and the appointments are finalised by mid September for the rotation to begin in early February the following year.
